Buyer (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Onsite 5 days a week at the Santa Clara, California office

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year

hirify.global develops autonomous middle-mile transportation technology and provides autonomous transportation-as-a-service for B2B logistics, with commercially deployed Level 4 autonomous trucks.

What you will do

• Review purchase requisitions and create purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Track orders, deliveries, supplier performance, and discrepancies or delays.
• Coordinate purchasing requirements with engineering, logistics, accounting, inventory, and materials management teams.
• Maintain vendor information, pricing, delivery terms, purchasing records, and routine reports.
• Resolve invoice and purchase order matching issues with Accounts Payable.
• Follow purchasing policies, approval workflows, and compliance standards while supporting adequate stock levels.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of purchasing or procurement coordination experience, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or technology.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
• Experience purchasing mechanical, electrical, or production materials.
• Knowledge of purchase order lifecycles, procurement documentation, and basic inventory control or MRP concepts.
• Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills, with strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and multitasking abilities.
