What you will do

• Manage the strategic supply base for tiered electrical components.
• Source qualified suppliers and establish sourcing strategies and commercial agreements for production parts, service parts, tooling, and services.
• Lead supplier RFIs, RFQs, negotiations, and agreements to meet program cost, manufacturing, and launch timing targets.
• Ensure supplier production, capacity, and program timing readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management to resolve cost, quality, and delivery issues.
• Identify cost reduction and value engineering opportunities, monitor supplier performance, and develop risk mitigation plans for supply continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
• Proven experience sourcing automotive electrical systems; automotive or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong supplier negotiation, relationship management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience identifying process issues and driving improvements.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Plex, or similar platforms.
