Semiconductor Maintenance Technician – Diffusion/Cleans

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on diffusion and cleans equipment toolsets.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain diffusion furnaces, wafer-mark laser scribe equipment, leak detectors, metrology equipment, and cleans toolsets.
• Complete scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, documentation, and other activities required to sustain the manufacturing area.
• Diagnose equipment alarms, interpret operational data, and create action plans.
• Interface with internal and external groups to meet safety, performance, and reliability requirements; train others when required.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment and sustain equipment with minimal direction.
• Experience using root-cause problem-solving techniques for complex semiconductor toolsets.
• Solid understanding of SPC, 5S, and FDC systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours, work in confined spaces, stoop and crawl, and lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals.

Nice to have

• AA, AS, or AAS degree in electronics or another mechanical discipline.
• EPI experience.
• Relevant work experience or military training that satisfies formal education requirements.
