Vice President, Quality (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in the Denver Metro Area, Colorado, United States; travel of up to 35% may be required, including overnight travel to company locations.

Base salary: $240,000–$290,000 annually, plus incentive plan eligibility. The range excludes benefits and bonus/incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide quality, compliance, and control initiatives across aerospace and highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Maintain and enhance the QMS to meet AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, customer, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Oversee receiving, in-process and final inspection, supplier quality, returns, and warranty quality processes.
• Manage MRB, nonconformance, CAPA, and RCCA processes to ensure traceability, resolution, and prevention.
• Establish quality metrics, drive data-based continuous improvement, and reduce waste and defects across sites and functions.
• Act as the primary quality interface for customers, regulators, and certification bodies while reporting on quality performance and risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of quality management experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• 10+ years of experience leading quality teams and organizations across QA and QC functions.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, FAA, DoD, and applicable regulatory and quality standards.
• Experience with manufacturing and special processes, supplier quality, and QMS implementation in regulated environments.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, CAPA, quality metrics, continuous improvement, and defect reduction.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience leading quality organizations across multiple sites and geographies.
• Familiarity with customer, regulatory, and certification audits at scale.
• Experience with defense or national security programs.
