Technical Accountant (Aerospace)

Location: Kent, Washington. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable ITAR export-control requirements.

What you will do

• Perform technical accounting research and prepare accounting position papers and memorandums.
• Assist with implementing new accounting standards and business transactions.
• Document accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support financial reporting and scalable reporting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain U.S. GAAP compliance.

Requirements

• Experience or capability in technical accounting research and accounting documentation.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to work with accounting processes and internal controls.
• Must be able to prove identity and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must satisfy applicable ITAR authorization requirements for access to restricted technology and technical data.
