TL;DR
Senior Accountant IV (U.S. GAAP/SEC Reporting): Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end general ledger close processes, financial statements, internal controls, audits, and technical accounting with an accent on U.S. GAAP compliance, SEC reporting, and SOX-compliant controls. Focus on preparing journal entries and reconciliations, testing and remediating controls, researching accounting issues, and delivering accurate reporting under tight deadlines.
Location: United States; ITAR compliance requires U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

What you will do
- Participate in and help lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end general ledger close processes.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and U.S. GAAP financial statements.
- Document, test, and remediate internal controls over financial reporting in a SOX-compliant environment.
- Research technical accounting issues and document the application of accounting pronouncements and company policies.
- Prepare schedules and provide support for internal and external audits.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and collaborate with FP&A, Operations, and Legal.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas, plus experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Experience in a publicly traded company, manufacturing company, or public accounting firm is highly desirable.
- Must satisfy U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements for space technology access.
Nice to have
- CPA designation or active pursuit of a CPA.
- Experience with FloQast or other close automation software.
- Experience with Navan, Concur, or similar travel and expense modules.
- Big Four or national accounting firm experience auditing public clients.
