Senior Electrical Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Own mission-level electrical systems scope across one or more active spacecraft programs.
• Integrate payloads, design wiring harnesses, and allocate and distribute vehicle power.
• Interpret interface control documents to guide harness design and system integration decisions.
• Support command and data handling architecture and requirements.
• Develop system component requirements and mission-level interconnect diagrams.
• Coordinate with board design, hardware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams, contributing to board design when needed.

Requirements

• Strong experience in electrical systems engineering, including harness design, electrical schematics, and power allocation and distribution.
• Ability to translate interface control documents into harness and interconnect designs.
• Experience developing system component requirements and interconnect diagrams.
• Ability to interpret EMI/EMC test plans.
• Senior-level experience acting as the primary electrical owner for a mission or program.
• Comfort with contributing to detailed board design work.

Nice to have

• Software or scripting skills, including running scripts, debugging code, and managing suppliers delivering hardware with embedded software.
• Familiarity with command and data handling systems.
• Experience supporting multiple missions or programs simultaneously.
