Company

hirify.global develops autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors for space superiority and security.

What you will do

  • Create 3D spacecraft and test-equipment harness routes while considering bend radius, separation, maintainability, and technical trade-offs.
  • Generate electrical interconnect diagrams and schematics for power, signal, and data connections, including grounding and shielding.
  • Build 3D harness models using SolidWorks and integrate harness routing into spacecraft and test equipment.
  • Analyze harnesses against applicable quality and reliability standards and develop equipment for IR/DWV testing.
  • Coordinate with engineering, program management, production, and quality teams to resolve obstacles and preserve design intent.
  • Develop bills of materials and use the ERP system to support production coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering.
  • 2–11 years of professional experience in harness design and routing.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar 3D CAD software.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering for harness design, such as Cameo.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited requirements or management oversight, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to maintain or obtain TS/SCI clearance and meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SolidWorks Electrical and Routing.
  • Experience implementing designs compliant with IPC/WHMA-A-620A or NASA-STD-8739.4.

Culture & Benefits

  • Health, dental, vision, and HRA/HSA options.
  • Paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and parental leave.
  • Travel required up to 20% of the time.
  • Work takes place in an office and production-factory environment, with physical demands including standing, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20 pounds.
