Operations Supervisor (Collectibles Operations)

Location: England, United Kingdom. Onsite work in the office 5 days per week is required.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations for the UK Receiving Center, managing priorities, staffing, workflow, service levels, quality, and escalations.
• Manage, coach, train, and develop the receiving team while maintaining accountability and operational discipline.
• Monitor throughput, productivity, backlog/WIP, SLA attainment, quality, attendance, capacity, and other operational metrics.
• Run daily operational huddles, adjust staffing and work allocation, and coordinate responses to changing volumes and constraints.
• Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, SOP development, standard work, training materials, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Operations leadership and Customer Service, Logistics, Security, HR, and Quality while maintaining safe handling and traceability of valuable customer merchandise.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in operations, production, logistics, fulfillment, receiving, or a comparable environment, including 2–3 years of direct supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience independently running daily operations, making operational decisions, and leading frontline teams with limited supervision.
• Strong understanding of operational performance metrics, structured problem solving, root-cause analysis, capacity planning, and workflow optimization.
• Experience improving processes, writing SOPs and standard work, training frontline associates, and using operational data to drive improvements.
• Strong communication, coaching, conflict-resolution, planning, prioritization, judgment, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and Google Sheets; willingness to work significantly on the operational floor.

Nice to have

• Experience in a receiving, fulfillment, warehouse, production, manufacturing, or other high-volume operational environment.
• Experience launching, ramping, or scaling a new operation or team.
• Knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, structured problem solving, or operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience handling valuable, sensitive, or highly traceable customer products.
• Experience working with international or multi-site organizations and cross-functional operational teams.
