Senior Engineer II - Validation (High-Speed Connectivity)

What you will do

• Develop and execute validation strategies and test plans for advanced connectivity devices.
• Perform lab-based design bring-up, characterization, and interoperability testing.
• Analyze validation results, debug findings, and recommendations for project and management stakeholders.
• Specify software, laboratory equipment, and test-board requirements for validation environments.
• Collaborate with Design, Verification, Applications, Marketing, and Product Engineering teams on root-cause analysis and JIRA-based debug workflows.
• Support customer issue reproduction and improve validation processes, metrics, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of combined experience in high-speed digital, analog/mixed-signal, systems, or power IC design and testing.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and projects.
• Strong communication, organization, and hardware design specification skills.
• Working knowledge of electronics laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ethernet, USB 2.0/3.x, or PCI Express protocols.
• Experience reviewing schematics and layouts for silicon validation or reference boards.
• Python automation for validation, data analysis, or laboratory equipment control.
• Experience with IC device characterization and silicon performance analysis.
