System Level Electrical Validation Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Execute and develop functional testing of high-bandwidth Ethernet switching silicon systems to verify performance and specifications.
• Debug complex switching silicon and system platforms, with a focus on Layer-1 issues, SerDes, and signal integrity.
• Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and architects to accelerate root-cause identification of system-level issues.
• Enhance existing validation flows and efficiency using modern automation tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# and experience with automation and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes and equalization techniques.
• 5+ years of experience with High Speed IO testing, debugging, and validation.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of L1/L2 Ethernet layers and standards.
• Knowledge of Memory, PCIe, and Ethernet system interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, BERT analyzers, and TDR/VNA.
• Familiarity with board CAD tools including Cadence and Allegro.
