Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst

Location: New York, New York, United States, or Washington, District of Columbia, United States. Hybrid work model with onsite attendance at least 50% of the time for employees within commuting distance of a hirify.global office.

Salary: $90,000–$124,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and enhance financial reporting packages, models, and dashboards.
• Analyze and consolidate complex financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly and quarterly management reporting.
• Prepare financial materials and recommendations for leadership and Board meetings.
• Partner with Accounting, Sales Operations, HR, Product, and other teams on planning, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses, improve financial systems and data accuracy, and mentor junior analysts.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, or FP&A.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills with experience handling complex datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and macros; familiarity with financial systems or BI tools.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and influence decisions across multiple teams.
• Strategic, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while handling sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality.
