Senior Finance Analyst

Location: Seattle, WA; on-site

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Coordinate annual budgeting, consolidation, quality control, budget uploads, and supporting analyses.
• Maintain and improve multi-year forecasts, scenario analyses, and planning models covering revenue, client growth, headcount, compensation, general and administrative expenses, and new business initiatives.
• Partner with department leaders to refine assumptions, evaluate staffing needs, monitor performance, and identify risks or areas that are off target.
• Prepare quarterly management reporting packages, budget-to-actual analyses, variance commentary, executive presentations, and business-driver reporting.
• Support compensation analyses, workforce planning, incentive compensation, and the firm’s equity ownership program.
• Simplify and automate budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and template-management processes using Excel, DataRails, Power Query, AI tools, and related systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and business analysis.
• Strong understanding of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and GAAP accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, process management, deadline ownership, and the ability to identify risks, issues, and data inconsistencies.

• Experience preparing analyses, presentations, or financial materials for senior leaders.
• Experience with NetSuite, DataRails, Power Query, Power BI, VBA, or similar tools.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, automate work, or enhance analysis.
• Background in wealth management, banking, insurance, professional services, or broader financial services.
