Concession Manager

Location: Onsite at Holt Renfrew, Vancouver, Canada

Salary: CAD 30–34 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

What you will do

• Support the Store Manager with daily concession operations, store performance, sales growth, and customer experience.
• Lead customer experience standards, selling practices, service offerings, and KPI performance, including revenue, conversion, NPS, and sales productivity.
• Manage inventory counts, back-of-house organization, order fulfillment, packaging, replenishment, and shrink prevention.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, execute retail campaigns, and oversee the condition of fixtures, displays, graphics, and decor.
• Support onboarding, training, scheduling, performance assessments, employee relations, and team engagement.
• Identify operational risks and inefficiencies, escalating issues and partnering with cross-functional teams on solutions.

Requirements

• Awareness of the local market and requirements relevant to new store openings.
• Financial management experience, including driving sales, interpreting reports, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Experience supporting, coaching, and motivating retail teams.
• Strong understanding of customer experience delivery in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and other retail technology.

• Leadership experience in a high-volume retail environment.
• Experience opening a store from scratch with a Store Manager.
• Experience working at a startup or fast-growing company.
