Regulatory Oversight Manager - 35 hours p/w with car allowance

Location: Remote within England, with an average of two days per week travelling in the South East/Kent and South West

What you will do

• Deliver regulatory oversight to appointed representative firms and registered individuals.
• Manage a panel of up to 40 firms and act as the main compliance contact for their principals.
• Conduct annual assessments, bespoke inspections, firm visits, and supervisory interactions.
• Review risk assessments and analysis data to identify firm and adviser risks and apply appropriate controls.
• Develop action plans with firms, agree remediation timelines, and monitor issues through to conclusion.
• Prepare inspection reports, provide coaching and feedback, and escalate identified failings through the correct channels.

Requirements

• Significant experience in field supervision or compliance monitoring.
• Experience assessing financial advice firms and advisers, including Network/National and IFA/restricted advice models.
• QCF Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
• Compliance and Risk qualification is essential.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, questioning, analytical, and risk-judgment skills.
