Regulatory Specialist (CASS)

Location: Hybrid role based in Bristol, England, United Kingdom. Flexible working is available, including reduced hours of at least 30 hours per week spread over 5 days.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and monitor operational controls for compliance with CASS 15 safeguarding requirements.
• Support daily CASS reconciliations and resolve breaks and discrepancies with Customer Operations.
• Maintain CASS policies, procedures, governance documentation, and the regulatory Resolution Pack.
• Prepare internal CASS management information and applicable external regulatory reports.
• Coordinate documentation, data, and responses for the annual external CASS audit.
• Support due diligence, operational risk management, resilience governance, and remediation tracking.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk, or operational oversight within a UK CASS-regulated financial services firm.
• Practical working knowledge of the FCA CASS rulebook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis of breaches and control failures.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple regulatory deadlines and priorities.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Electronic Money and Payment Services regulations.
