Turbomachinery Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Kent, Washington, United States. The position requires authorization to work with U.S.-controlled space technology under ITAR regulations.

What you will do

• Design and analyze turbomachinery for advanced reusable rocket engines.
• Own turbomachinery manufacturing, build, testing, and validation activities.
• Research and apply state-of-the-art design and manufacturing techniques and tools.
• Continuously iterate and improve turbomachinery designs for rapidly reusable engines.
• Solve challenging turbomachinery problems while moving quickly and working independently.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations for ITAR-controlled technology.
• Must be able to prove identity and authorization to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification.
• Ability to stay focused, self-direct work, move quickly, and learn on the fly.
• Experience level and final role level are assessed individually based on experience and skills.
