Salary: $115,000–$150,000 for Engineer or $155,000–$195,000 for Senior, plus equity.

What you will do

  • Analyze compressor and turbine rotors, stationary vanes, shafts, pressurized casings, and other engine components for stress, life, and fatigue.
  • Perform structural, vibratory, and heat-transfer analysis using finite element analysis.
  • Develop simulation workflows and analytical tools to accelerate repetitive analysis tasks.
  • Collaborate with aerodynamic, mechanical design, and manufacturing teams to develop components for rapid production and testing.
  • Guide component drawing requirements and tolerances.
  • Develop component life-test procedures and communicate structural results to the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of structural mechanics and rotor dynamics.
  • Professional experience with finite element analysis for static structural, vibratory, and heat-transfer analysis.
  • Must be a U.S. Person and authorized to work in the United States without export-license sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Experience with turbomachinery components.
  • Proficiency with NX and Teamcenter.
  • Experience developing engineering tools and workflows.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Independent, flexible, and clear communication style.
