Software Engineer – Control Path & Quality, Data Ocean

hirify.global develops Data Ocean platform software for next-generation AI and enterprise data platforms, including scalable storage solutions.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain control plane services for Data Ocean platform management and orchestration.
• Design management APIs and service interfaces, including workflows for caching, data movement, configuration, and platform lifecycle operations.
• Build monitoring, telemetry, and operational capabilities to improve platform visibility and reliability.
• Support integration between Data Ocean components and external storage or platform services.
• Develop automated frameworks for functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
• Debug distributed software issues, contribute to root-cause analysis, and improve release readiness and CI/CD reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience developing software applications, infrastructure software, or distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Go, or Java.
• Experience with Linux-based development, REST APIs, automation frameworks, and software validation tools.
• Understanding of storage systems, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and container-based environments.
• Python-based automation and testing framework experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and infrastructure platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise storage systems or distributed data platforms.
• Experience with performance testing, system validation, or large-scale software testing.
