Senior Backend Engineer - SDE 3 (Golang)

Location: Bangalore, India

Requirements

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications, including 2+ years of recent active software development.
• Good understanding of Golang, including concurrency patterns and reusable Go components.
• Strong experience designing loosely coupled, reliable, and extensible distributed services.
• Knowledge of clean architecture, SOLID principles, event-driven architecture, and message brokers such as SQS or Kafka.
• Strong data modeling experience with relational databases.
• Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent education.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.

What you will do

• Deliver large projects independently across scoping, planning, design, development, testing, rollout, and maintenance.
• Write modular, well-tested code and review contributions from junior engineers.
• Create technical designs and evaluate trade-offs between architectural solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead troubleshooting and incident resolution for owned services.
• Improve service and code quality through established practices and new initiatives.
• Lead cross-team collaboration, support hiring and onboarding, and coach junior engineers.
