Location: San Carlos, California, United States; on-site
Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do
- Lead board bring-up and system validation for advanced edge compute platforms.
- Develop validation methods for signal integrity, power integrity, sequencing, thermal behavior, and reliability.
- Debug hardware and firmware interactions across PCIe, Nvidia NVLink, AMD XGMI, memory, BMC/SMC, and HMC architectures.
- Analyze boards using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and power instrumentation.
- Drive root-cause analysis during validation and environmental testing.
- Partner with mechanical, thermal, firmware, and software teams to define robust flight-ready systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience designing and building compute hardware systems.
- Experience with board design reviews, system validation, or compute hardware engineering.
- Strong knowledge of motherboard architecture, high-speed signaling, power delivery, and system management infrastructure.
- Hands-on debugging experience with oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers, plus scripting or automation in Python, C, or C++.
- Must meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship, U.S. lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.
Nice to have
- 8+ years of experience designing and building compute hardware systems.
- Experience with Redfish or IPMI, spacecraft avionics, power and thermal systems, and environmental testing.
- Radiation testing experience for LEO avionics.
- Track record of ownership and technical leadership.
