Master Production Control / Planner (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite manufacturing and clean-room work

Salary: $64,000–$88,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and control production, inventory, process, and shop-floor activities, including MRP integrity.
• Maintain SAP work order release schedules and improve component availability through pre-shortage analysis.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, validate master scheduling requirements, and analyze work order variances.
• Manage engineering change orders, system audits, cycle counting, inventory levels, obsolete materials, and shortage expedites.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Finance, Order Management, and work centers to resolve material and scheduling issues.
• Provide production status updates, track supplier commitments and shortages, and support recovery plans to protect delivery schedules.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in production planning, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other Office applications is preferred.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with rotating weekend coverage approximately once every five weeks.
