Logistics Lead (Solar Energy)

Location: Madrid, Spain; occasional travel to project sites, ports, warehouses, customers, and suppliers is required.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end logistics execution from suppliers to utility-scale solar project sites across Europe.
• Plan and optimize door-to-door multimodal shipments by road, ocean, and air, including transloading, drayage, and last-mile deliveries.
• Coordinate 3PLs, freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders.
• Track deliveries, manage project-site slots, identify deviations, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Maintain project status reports, TMS data, close-out documentation, and lessons-learned reports.
• Monitor budgets, vendor and lane KPIs, service performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
• 6–8+ years of logistics coordination or operations experience in industrial, EPC, or energy sectors; solar PV experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EU transportation modes, regulations, shipping processes, Incoterms 2020, customs, and packaging.
• Experience managing end-to-end multimodal transportation, 3PLs, customs brokers, suppliers, and project-site deliveries across Europe.
• Proficiency with TMS and ERP systems, Anaplan, and advanced Microsoft Excel; OTM experience is an advantage.
• Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken, are required.
