Project Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own end-to-end project plans for health system implementations, including governance gates, security reviews, change control, environment migrations, and formal testing.
• Coordinate Agent PMs, Agent Engineers, FDEs, product and engineering teams, and client-side IT, clinical, and operations stakeholders.
• Lead weekly project meetings, working sessions, steering committees, internal syncs, and executive status updates.
• Identify risks and dependencies, escalate issues with clear options, and maintain realistic timelines.
• Turn strategic health system goals into scoped plans with owners and dates.
• Create reusable project plans, stakeholder maps, and status-reporting processes to improve future launches.

Requirements

• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with external customers, ideally enterprise software implementations.
• Track record of delivering projects with dependencies across teams without direct management authority.
• Comfort working with formal governance processes, change advisory boards, security reviews, and staged environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including executive status reporting.
• Strong judgment around escalation, trade-offs, and resetting expectations.
• Technical fluency and ability to work closely with engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Health system or hospital implementation experience.
• Experience with EHR integrations, especially Epic, or telephony and contact center systems.
• PMP or similar project management certification.
• Startup or high-growth company experience.
