Technical Project Manager (AI)

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, execute, track, and deliver software roadmap projects on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
• Identify and remove impediments, manage risks and issues, track milestones, maintain project artifacts, and drive ticket resolution.
• Facilitate project releases, including go/no-go meetings, release plans, kickoffs, iteration zero, charters, decision logs, and dependency resolution.
• Coach and facilitate one or more scrum teams, champion agile methodologies, support SDLC execution, and protect teams from distractions.
• Coordinate cross-project and cross-team dependencies and lead communication with technical product management, engineering, QA, business partners, and other stakeholders.
• Create communication plans and agendas, manage stakeholder expectations, and support product and content teams with charters and user stories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of software development and adoption, ideally in EdTech.
• Fluency with AI tools and emerging technologies, using them for project planning, workflow automation, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Project management experience covering timelines, resources, scope, and business requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication, organizational, planning, prioritization, problem-solving, negotiation, conflict-management, and critical-thinking skills.
• Product knowledge and understanding of markets and customers, with the ability to work across matrix environments.
• Proven ability to build and lead strong teams and other project managers, including experience scaling highly engaged, high-performing product teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• Ability to build effective relationships at all levels and work with cross-functional teams in an agile software development environment.
• Scrum Master experience as a coach or facilitator and proficiency in an agile project management environment.
• Ability to lead dispersed team members across offices and time zones, adapt to changing priorities, manage expectations and personalities diplomatically, and drive issues and risks to resolution.

• Advanced degree.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
• Consulting experience, work with business partners and external vendors, and experience using traditional and rapid or lightweight project management approaches.
