Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; hybrid workplace

A fast-growing fintech company building multi-currency digital wallet and payment solutions for consumers and businesses across Asia Pacific.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and secure backend services and APIs using Golang.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver reliable software.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability through monitoring and optimization.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for backend services.
• Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of backend development experience, preferably in a high-growth or fintech environment.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented and/or functional programming, software design patterns, and backend engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing, including unit and integration testing for backend services.
• Experience with Golang and/or gRPC is highly preferred, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
