Senior Backend Software Engineer (FinTech): Building and operating scalable distributed payment systems, including payment platforms, payout services, fee platforms, and ledgers, with an accent on transaction correctness, consistency, reliability, and performance. Focus on applying idempotency, two-phase commit, event sourcing, and Saga patterns while solving production issues and strengthening observability and operational resilience.

What you will do
- Develop scalable backend systems for 's payment platform, driver payouts, fee platform, and partner ledger.
- Build distributed services processing millions of transactions daily while maintaining correctness, consistency, reliability, security, and performance.
- Apply idempotency, two-phase commit, event sourcing, and Saga patterns to complex payment-platform challenges.
- Diagnose production issues, implement sustainable fixes, and improve observability, automation, and operational processes.
- Contribute to architecture and technical direction, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns and participate in the on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of relevant software development experience.
- Proficiency in Go, Java, or another major programming language.
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems with relational and NoSQL databases, caching, RESTful or gRPC services, and microservices.
- Practical experience with AWS, DevOps practices, clean architecture, data-intensive applications, observability, availability, security, governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to write tested and maintainable code, produce technical designs and runbooks, and use Generative AI tools responsibly.
