Loss Prevention Specialist (Warehouse Security)

Location: Omega, Warrington, UK. On-site role with rotating day and night shifts from Monday to Friday: 09:45–18:45 and 21:45–06:15.

What you will do

• Supervise and support Security Officers across warehouse operations, including briefings, coaching, access control, searches, and patrols.
• Investigate stock losses, inventory discrepancies, theft, fraud, customer order issues, and operational errors.
• Use CCTV, access control systems, warehouse management systems, and operational data to support investigations.
• Protect high-value products, freight, client stock, deliveries, collections, and returns across goods-in, goods-out, packing, decant, and storage areas.
• Conduct security audits, monitor equipment and CCTV coverage, and support internal and external compliance audits.
• Lead incident investigations, liaise with law enforcement when required, and recommend measures to reduce future losses.

Requirements

• Previous experience in loss prevention, security, warehouse security, or asset protection.
• Experience managing or supervising Security Officers or operational teams.
• Proven experience investigating stock loss, theft, fraud, or customer order discrepancies.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and fulfilment operations, with experience using CCTV, access control, and incident management processes.
• Excellent report-writing, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-value logistics, fulfilment, retail, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Knowledge of TAPA standards and supply chain security requirements.
• Professional security qualification or relevant industry certification.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory platforms.
