What you will do

• Manage inbound and outbound operations, truck loading and unloading, warehouse organization, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead, coach, and develop multiple supervisors and a large hourly workforce, including performance reviews and career development.
• Plan labor and adjust staffing schedules in real time to meet changing demand and peak-season requirements.
• Support facility-wide budgeting, revenue and expense tracking, and operational KPI management.
• Set and deliver safety, efficiency, and quality targets while ensuring employees follow standard operating methods and programs.
• Lead operational improvement projects and collaborate with Warehouse Excellence and strategic partners to improve customer experience.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, including 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems, material handling equipment, and industrial storage systems.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify challenges, and develop effective conclusions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and presentations to clients and executives.
• Experience planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects while setting priorities.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and data analysis.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with food-grade warehousing and high-volume distribution.
• Practical experience with Lean methodologies and process optimization.
• Increasing responsibility in a high-growth third-party logistics environment.
