Agentic AI Engineer / Software Engineer - AI Applications (Remote US)

Location: Remote USA; US citizenship or a Green Card is required due to US government contract requirements.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build agentic AI applications for real customer use cases.
• Design agentic workflows, plugins, and tool integrations that deliver measurable value.
• Translate ambiguous operational problems into intuitive AI experiences.
• Rapidly prototype, gather feedback, and iterate applications into production-ready solutions.
• Partner with platform engineers to improve abstractions and reusable components.
• Own customer-facing quality across UX, reliability, performance, and evaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Production experience building agentic AI applications using AI agents, workflows, MCP, and tool orchestration.
• Experience integrating APIs, enterprise systems, and external data sources.
• Ability to move quickly from idea to working product while maintaining high engineering quality.
• Strong communication, collaboration, product judgment, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Startup experience or experience in 0→1 product environments.
• Understanding of AI security practices, including RBAC/ABAC, audit logging, and prompt-level safeguards.
• Exposure to regulated or sensitive industries such as finance, healthcare, or telecoms.
