Agentic Operations Architect (AI)

Location: United States — Denver, CO (hybrid); Las Vegas, NV (remote); New York, NY; Phoenix, AZ (remote); San Francisco, CA (hybrid). Employees based in Denver, San Francisco, or New York work from the office approximately 2–3 days per week or more depending on the role.

Salary: $168,420–$210,525 per year in Denver and most major metropolitan locations; $197,895–$247,369 per year in San Francisco and New York.

What you will do

• Design reusable patterns for agentic service workflows, orchestration, human-in-the-loop protocols, escalation logic, overrides, and quality safeguards.
• Set practical standards and selectively prototype workflows to validate capabilities, identify gaps, and create reusable components.
• Influence Product and Engineering priorities by turning builder bottlenecks into evidence-based platform requirements.
• Prioritize automation opportunities using volume, risk, customer impact, SOPs, operational metrics, and interaction data.
• Define consistent workflow performance metrics with Data and distinguish regressions from normal variation.
• Bring customer impact and risk considerations into Legal, Security, Compliance, and platform reviews, and report portfolio performance to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in operations, product, or AI roles, including at least 2 years designing and deploying AI-assisted or agentic workflows in production.
• Hands-on experience with agentic tooling, orchestration frameworks, MCP-style integrations, and multi-agent coordination.
• Strong knowledge of LLM systems, prompt design, evaluation, and model behavior at scale.
• Experience designing human-in-the-loop systems with escalation logic, override controls, and compliance-aware checkpoints.
• Ability to define and diagnose workflow metrics such as solve rate, assist rate, containment, and escalation quality.
• Experience influencing Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Compliance, plus familiarity with responsible AI, governance, and production risk management.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG architectures and retrieval quality optimization.
• Ability to assess data structures, data quality, and governance for reliable agentic performance.
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, or regulated environments.
• Exposure to AI governance or safety-oriented review processes.
