General Manager of Data Operations (AI)

Salary: $205,000–$235,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Build and lead a team of Data Product Operations Leads responsible for scaling audio data pipelines from experiments to production.
• Own a major part of the Data Factory, covering 0→1 workflow experiments and 1→N industrialized data production.
• Partner with executive leadership, AI researchers, and internal research teams to translate model capabilities into data workflows and delivery plans.
• Monitor and improve pipeline health, sourcing, quality, throughput, and operational efficiency.
• Use metrics such as throughput, quality, and cost to guide prioritization and investment decisions.
• Design systems, manage execution, remove bottlenecks, and ensure delivery across prototype and production scales.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in high-ownership roles such as founder, GM, COO, or strategy and operations at a venture-backed startup.
• Experience scaling large operational efforts at high-growth startups or fast-paced companies.
• Technical fluency with data and operations; SQL proficiency is required.
• Experience designing and scaling systems, processes, and teams across customer segments and product lines.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and rapid pace while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, low-ego, mission-driven approach focused on team and company success.

Nice to have

• Experience in data, machine learning, or large-scale operations.
• Background in computer science, industrial engineering, or a similar field.
