MCU Product Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end NPI and productization for MCU products from wafer to finished goods.
• Define test solutions, evaluate reliability data against AEC-Q100 and JEDEC standards, and prepare datasheets and production test specifications.
• Lead yield enhancement initiatives across wafer fabrication, assembly, and test operations, including root cause analysis for low-yield lots.
• Manage engineering changes, second-source qualification, test program optimization, and packaging material substitution.
• Conduct electrical and physical failure analysis for market returns and production excursions.
• Prepare analysis reports, define corrective and preventive actions, and close customer quality issues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Five years of semiconductor product engineering experience, with MCU or 32-bit microcontroller NPI experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMOS and Flash process flows and QFN, LQFP, and BGA packaging technologies.
• Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals, with the ability to read schematics and layouts independently.
• Solid statistics knowledge and proficiency with Six Sigma data analysis methods.
• Excellent English proficiency required for technical reports and communication with overseas customers and suppliers.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive-grade chip development flows.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 quality management systems.
