Chief of Staff (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the executive operating system, including leadership syncs, strategic deep dives, executive offsites, and bi-annual planning cycles.
• Drive company-wide capacity allocation, roadmap forums, prioritization discipline, and documented tradeoffs across Product, Design, Engineering, and other functions.
• Maintain planning and review mechanisms, including quarterly planning, OKRs, weekly executive reporting, and post-mortems.
• Detect and resolve cross-functional misalignment, route problems to accountable owners, and close delegated outcomes without repeated status requests.
• Develop internal communications, company-wide narratives, AMA and offsite content, and decision memos.
• Anticipate organizational breakpoints, maintain an unsolved-problems register, prepare risk and crisis protocols, and advise the CEO and leadership team.

Requirements

• Experience operating in a hypergrowth company at Series C or later, including firsthand experience with scaling challenges.
• Track record of holding senior leaders accountable without positional authority and managing up effectively.
• Experience designing and driving adoption of operating mechanisms from a blank page, including through resistance.
• Deep product and engineering fluency sufficient to enforce prioritization discipline and pressure-test capacity estimates.
• Experience through at least two scaling reorganizations, with clear examples of what broke, what was anticipated, and what was missed.
• Strong written communication, judgment, speed, ambiguity tolerance, and daily working fluency with AI tools.

• Background in cross-border payments, FX, or stablecoin infrastructure.
• Multi-geography operating experience.
• Prior Chief of Staff, BizOps, Product Ops, or Strategy and Operations experience at a high-growth company.
