Chief of Staff (Fintech)

What you will do

• Maintain a trusted view of Data Science and Credit Risk work, including status, owners, risks, and dependencies.
• Identify blockers, connect stakeholders, and drive commitments and issues through to resolution.
• Build and operate monitoring for model performance drift, stability, data quality, alerting, services, and decisioning APIs.
• Run planning cycles, delivery reviews, learning forums, model health reviews, incident follow-ups, and documentation checks.
• Coordinate model deployments, bug fixes, change controls, and post-change impact reviews with senior stakeholders.
• Support prioritisation, hiring, onboarding, knowledge sharing, documentation, and performance management across the organisation.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a quantitative, analytical, or operational role such as data science, analytics, management consulting, or fintech.
• Experience managing projects end to end is preferred.
• Curiosity about lending and credit models, with enough SQL and Python knowledge to investigate data independently.
• Demonstrated autonomy and evidence of starting, building, or fixing initiatives without being asked.
• Strong organisation and clear written communication skills, with the ability to present to executives and manage operational details.
• Low-ego, high-ownership approach and comfort working across data science, credit risk, engineering, product, and compliance.
