Incentive Compensation Systems Manager

Location: United States (Remote)

Salary: $144,000–$173,000 annual base compensation, plus RSUs

What you will do

• Map incentive compensation workflows across plan administration, calculations, approvals, and payouts, then prioritize process gaps by risk and business impact.
• Design and build automated workflows, integrations, and tooling for data pulls, reconciliations, approval routing, and exception handling.
• Own and configure Xactly instances, including calculation rules, plan logic, and workflows.
• Identify and deploy AI- and LLM-enabled workflows for exception detection, data reconciliation, plan document review, and compensation questions.
• Integrate incentive compensation data across CRM, HRIS, data warehouse, finance, People Operations, Revenue Operations, and IT/Data systems.
• Establish documentation, standard operating procedures, controls, and a continuous improvement cadence for auditable and maintainable processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in incentive compensation, sales operations, revenue operations, or related systems and process improvement roles.
• Hands-on SQL experience and the ability to query, reconcile, and validate data across systems.
• Experience building automated workflows with scripting, workflow or RPA platforms, or incentive compensation management systems.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM, HRIS platforms, data warehouses such as BigQuery, and compensation platforms such as Xactly.
• Strong cross-functional communication, systems analysis, process design, and analytical skills.
• Understanding of quotas, accelerators, SPIFFs, payout timing, and related incentive compensation mechanics.

• Experience in a high-growth SaaS, cloud, open-source, public company, or IPO-readiness environment.
• Experience working in globally distributed, remote-first organizations across multiple time zones.
• Experience with MCP dataset and workflow documentation or AI agents for incentive compensation automation.
