VP Technology & Innovation (AI)

Location: Any location in Canada; remote and hybrid work environment. Travel up to 10%.

Salary: $230,000–$250,000 per year.

What you will do

• Define and execute the Canadian digital strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Lead the design, development, delivery, and lifecycle management of enterprise architecture, applications, integrations, infrastructure, and digital platforms.
• Own product strategy and roadmaps for high-quality virtual and hybrid care, operational excellence, commercial growth, and user experience.
• Establish data governance, analytics, business intelligence, and responsible AI capabilities for clinical and operational decision-making.
• Oversee cybersecurity, technology operations, resilience, incident response, disaster recovery, and vendor risk management.
• Build and develop a multidisciplinary organization across product management, engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, data and AI, cloud, and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, health informatics, business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in technology, product management, digital transformation, and/or data and analytics.
• Experience in healthcare, virtual or hybrid care, or another highly regulated sector.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, data and analytics, AI, and emerging technology trends.
• Experience leading technology modernization, digital transformation, enterprise operations, portfolios, product roadmaps, budgets, vendors, and delivery outcomes.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, change leadership, strategic planning, and multidisciplinary team leadership skills.
