Data Operations Manager (AI & Robotics)

Location: Toronto, hybrid

Salary: CA$100K–CA$140K plus equity

Builds data infrastructure for robotics and embodied AI, including data capture, data labeling, and hardware deployment systems.

What you will do

• Own cross-functional projects spanning data labeling operations, data capture workflows, and hardware logistics and deployments.
• Turn ambiguous tasks into clear execution plans with timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Drive execution across operations, hardware, engineering, research, customers, and partners.
• Track progress, risks, and quality, resolve blockers, and ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Coordinate internal and external communication and provide clear updates on status, risks, and timelines.
• Improve day-to-day operations through lightweight documentation, trackers, and workflows while owning execution for founders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in operations, program management, or project management.
• Experience working across multiple functions and teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and execution skills.
• Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and taking ownership end-to-end.
• Ability to manage details and the broader picture while context-switching between projects.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Toronto.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI, robotics, hardware, or data operations.
• Familiarity with data labeling or data capture workflows.
• Experience working directly with founders or leadership.
• Experience managing external customers or partners.
