Program Manager, Business Operations

Location: Canada — Mississauga, Ontario

Salary: CAD 98,000–123,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Own licensing operations for Bitbucket and TeamCity, including requests, approvals, provisioning, reallocations, renewals, and decommissioning.
• Manage vendor relationships, invoices, purchase orders, balances, forecasts, renewals, and cost optimization for Product Development & Operations vendors.
• Partner with Tax on SR&ED in Canada and R&D tax credit programs in the United States and Ireland.
• Run and maintain Jira data exports, scripts, filters, and schedules for reporting and external audit support.
• Improve licensing, vendor management, and tax-credit processes through automation, workflows, self-service, documentation, playbooks, and FAQs.

Requirements

• Experience in program management, business operations, or a related role supporting engineering, product, or technology teams.
• Experience owning complex cross-functional processes such as procurement, licensing, vendor management, or financial and operational programs.
• Understanding of SaaS licensing, entitlements, utilization, credits, cost optimization, purchase orders, invoices, accruals, and burndown tracking.
• Experience with Jira, basic command-line tools, and scripted exports, or willingness to learn and maintain existing scripts.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, process improvement, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across organizational levels and time zones.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, or Figma.
• Experience working with AI, cloud, and data-driven operations.
