Senior Research Program Manager (Construction)

Salary: $111,400 – $163,350

What you will do

• Lead program management for construction research initiatives, defining scope, objectives, milestones, and dependencies.
• Manage the research lifecycle from opportunity framing and discovery to validation and product transition.
• Apply construction domain fluency (BIM/VDC, project delivery) to connect research activity to real industry needs.
• Coordinate AI and emerging technology research, specifically focusing on generative AI, intelligent agents, and simulation.
• Drive accountability using dashboards, risk registers, and executive summaries for senior leadership.
• Manage program budgets, resource prioritization, and collaborations with academic or industry partners.

Requirements

• 8+ years in program management, research operations, or construction technology.
• Working knowledge of construction workflows, including preconstruction, BIM/VDC, and field execution.
• Demonstrated ability to build structure within ambiguous and newly forming research areas.
• Strong facilitation and influencing skills across multidisciplinary global teams.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Slack.
• Ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Construction Cloud, Revit, Navisworks, Forma, or Tandem.
• Background in applied research, innovation programs, or early-stage product incubation.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, generative AI, or data-driven product development.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Computer Science.
