Director, Chief of Staff - AutoCAD, Building, and Infrastructure Solutions

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada

Salary: CAD 180,500–248,160 annual base salary for Canada-based roles; offers may exceed this range.

What you will do

• Partner with the ABI Vice President and leadership team on multi-year strategy, annual priorities, portfolio investments, and fact-based recommendations.
• Integrate customer, market, product, financial, people, and operational insights into decisions with clear trade-offs, owners, and success measures.
• Strengthen leadership-team effectiveness, facilitate strategic and tactical meetings, and follow up on decisions and actions.
• Lead communications for the ABI Vice President, including announcements, presentations, blogs, executive reviews, customer meetings, and external forums.
• Lead selected cross-organizational programs and projects while maintaining visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints.
• Lead, develop, and prioritize the ABI business operations and program management team, including coaching and career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in the software development industry, preferably in product management or development organizations; AEC experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading large, complex, transformational programs and creating operating systems for decision-making, portfolio reviews, objective-setting, performance management, and executive forums.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder negotiation, facilitation, analytical, visualization, and fact-based recommendation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including communication with executive leaders, employees, customers, partners, and external audiences.
• Understanding of AI-driven operational efficiency and context engineering for automating repetitive processes.
