Senior Systems Administrator (Linux)

Location: Onsite in Nashville or Crossville, Tennessee, United States. US Person/work authorization status required.

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, maintain, and secure Windows and Linux servers across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Configure AWS GPU and CPU clusters for high-performance computing workloads.
• Develop and maintain toolchains using container orchestration, software-defined storage, and automation.
• Manage GitHub and GitLab repositories and support collaboration in alignment with US compliance requirements.
• Optimize resource utilization, performance, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Implement backups, recovery plans, system upgrades, and ongoing infrastructure support across multiple sites.

Requirements

• US Person/work authorization status required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in systems engineering or administration.
• Experience with SOC 2, CMMC, and NIST 800-171 compliance, DoD requirements, and Controlled Unclassified Information.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, on-premises servers, SAN/NAS storage, distributed computing, Windows, and Unix/Linux systems.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or Perl scripting, automation and configuration management tools, Microsoft 365, networking, and infrastructure management.

Nice to have

• Enterprise-grade storage and networking architecture experience.
• Experience with centralized logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Exposure to Okta, Azure AD, LDAP, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, or Zero Trust Architecture.
