Finance Manager (Accounting)

Location

Must be based in or able to work on-site in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA.

Salary: $135,000 – $175,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the general ledger function end-to-end, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all cross-functional partners meet strict deadlines.
• Build and refine accounting processes and controls to support rapid company scaling.
• Partner with finance leadership and external auditors to maintain internal controls and audit readiness.
• Manage ERP and accounting system implementations, migrations, and upgrades.

Requirements

• Must hold a CPA license or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Proven experience owning the general ledger function and leading month-end/year-end close cycles.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including accrual, cutoff, and capitalization principles.
• Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and Excel.
• Experience supporting or leading ERP/accounting system implementations.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.
• Background in high-growth technology or infrastructure companies.
• Direct experience liaising with external auditors.
• Exposure to intercompany accounting and consolidations.
