Accounting Manager (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site 5 days a week)

Compensation: $130,000–$180,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

hirify.global is a fintech startup building a credit card and loyalty platform that enables businesses to embed credit card features natively into their products.

What you will do

• Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and funding wires.
• Enhance the month-end close process and ensure timely financial reporting for stakeholders.
• Own revenue recognition policies and ensure compliance with ASC 606 and US GAAP.
• Lead annual audits and develop internal accounting controls and procedures.
• Oversee cash transactions, payroll, stock compensation, and inter-company transactions.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting systems such as NetSuite.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting with a CPA certification required.
• 2+ years of experience managing E2E month-end activities and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QBO, NetSuite, Bill.com, or Expensify.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment.
• Must be based in San Francisco and able to work on-site 5 days a week.
