Consultant (Technical, Top Secret Clearance)

Location: McLean, Virginia; onsite in the office 5 days a week. Work in cleared facilities and SCIF environments is required.

Salary: $75,000–$175,000 USD base salary annually, plus potential government clearance differential and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions on the hirify.global platform.
• Work across the full project lifecycle with customers to understand business processes and technical requirements.
• Launch relational data models in production and develop API integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and web services.
• Identify AI use cases and implement RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models.
• Collaborate with client technical teams and business users in an agile development environment.
• Drive adoption by enabling clients to build process applications independently.

Requirements

• Active government Top Secret clearance or higher, without limitations, is required.
• Ability and willingness to maintain an active TS:SCI clearance and work in SCIF environments.
• At least 1 year of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience.
• B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, relational databases, data modeling, SQL, software testing, and automated test suites.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% annually for customer engagements.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, AI, analytics, machine learning, application integration, developer tools, governance, and elastic containers.
