Consultant - Financial Services (AI)

Location: United States; hybrid workplace with at least three days per week from a hirify.global office or approved coworking location, plus onsite client work as required. Candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global location.

Salary: USD 89,000–110,000 per year, plus annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver forward-deployed business analysis for wealth and asset management, capital markets, corporate banking, risk and compliance, and related financial services areas.
• Use AI, no-code, low-code, automation and analytics platforms to accelerate research, process mapping, documentation, prototyping and delivery execution.
• Work with client business, operations, product, data and technology teams to clarify objectives, constraints, priorities and desired outcomes.
• Assess processes, systems, data flows, risks and dependencies, then support operating model transformation, system implementation and process optimization.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, data requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria and solution documentation.
• Support solution design, integration planning, workflow optimization, UAT, validation, implementation readiness, client communications, proposals and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, AI Engineering and Computing, Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Recent graduate or early-career profile with up to two years of post-graduate experience, including relevant internships, academic projects or work experience.
• Foundational ability to use AI and GenAI tools, prompt engineering and modern productivity platforms for analysis, documentation, research and testing support.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, Tableau and SQL for analysis, insights and presentations.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, ownership, teamwork and intellectual curiosity in a client-facing environment.
• Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or management consulting.
• Foundational knowledge or demonstrated interest in financial products, operations, regulatory requirements, technology and business processes.
