Product Validation Engineer (FPGA)

What you will do

• Develop and execute post-silicon validation plans for static and dynamic power, power domains, and timing parameters across advanced FPGA architectures.
• Create, optimize, and debug FPGA validation pattern sets for MCP devices and core logic circuits.
• Drive characterization on ATE tester platforms and bench setups for silicon bring-up and volume testing.
• Correlate pre-silicon power and timing models with empirical silicon performance data.
• Analyze statistical silicon data to identify performance trends and support speed and power binning strategies.
• Collaborate with chip designers, software model engineers, and test teams to investigate silicon anomalies and resolve issues.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of industry experience in post-silicon validation, test engineering, or hardware characterization.
• Practical experience with static and dynamic power measurement, timing characterization, and power-domain analysis for complex ICs or FPGAs.
• Hands-on experience with ATE tester platforms and scripting for automated test execution and data analysis using Python, Perl, or Tcl.
• Solid understanding of digital logic design, advanced packaging, MCPs, and programmable logic architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience applying statistical methods or data-analysis tools to silicon data.
