Senior Material Handler (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Applicants must be U.S. Persons under ITAR and EAR requirements and eligible to obtain any required export authorizations.

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, and verify aerospace materials, hardware, and certified components against purchase orders and technical documentation.
• Prepare and kit materials for work orders while maintaining accurate part numbers, revisions, and configurations.
• Process inventory transactions in ERP/MRP systems and perform cycle counts to reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor shelf-life materials, including adhesives, sealants, chemicals, and other regulated aerospace items.
• Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials in collaboration with Quality, MRB, and Engineering.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and powered industrial trucks, and coordinate compliant packaging and shipment of flight-critical components.

Requirements

• Associate degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, industrial technology, or a related field plus 3+ years of materials experience in a complex R&D or low-rate production environment, or 5 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using an MRP system.
• Ability to work autonomously with a self-starting and self-motivated work ethic.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry items or equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to obtain required export authorizations.
