Senior Supply Chain Systems Analyst (Python/SQL)

Location: Warrington, United Kingdom; hybrid, with most people spending 1 or 2 days in the office each week

What you will do

• Own and improve daily Supply Chain tools for ordering, freshness, thawing, and stock management.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the Dynamics 365 Purchase Order API integration, including authentication, header, line, and data errors.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to gather requirements, test releases, and build order interfaces and visualisations.
• Analyse Supply Chain and Logistics data in Databricks, dbt, and SQL to improve OTIF and waste-cost KPIs.
• Represent Supply Chain and Logistics in planning, present recommendations to stakeholders and senior management, and support transformational initiatives.
• Identify tooling and process issues, provide technical support and mentoring, and maintain documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.

Requirements

• Strong working proficiency in Python, including building and packaging small applications with Tkinter, xlwings, or PyInstaller.
• Working knowledge of SQL and a cloud data platform such as Databricks or dbt.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including App Script or VBA automation.
• Experience integrating with or troubleshooting business-system APIs, especially ERP or Dynamics-style Purchase Order systems.
• Ability to translate ambiguous operational problems into technical solutions and own delivery from requirements through ongoing support.
• Effective communication across Supply Chain, Logistics, and Technology teams, with an interest in informal technical mentoring.
