Location: Mountain View, California, United States; hybrid work with onsite attendance at the Mountain View office three days per week

What you will do
- Define and develop systems engineering artifacts supporting ARP4754A and ARP4761 compliance.
- Review and drive safety-critical systems integration activities using systems engineering practices and lessons learned.
- Lead trade studies for optimized system architectures meeting performance, size, weight, power, and safety requirements.
- Own schedules and end-to-end integration activities covering mass, power, regulatory compliance, preliminary risk assessments, and major technical issues.
- Develop execution strategies with engineering leaders across multiple integrated product teams.
- Support system development, validation, integration, testing, flight-test, and aircraft certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 12 years of experience, or master’s degree in engineering with 8 years of experience in aircraft integration, systems engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience decomposing and managing requirements, allocating functions, and working with certification and systems safety teams on certification deliverables.
- Expertise with ARP4754A, DO-160, ARP4761, Part 23/25 regulations, AC XX.1309, or similar standards.
- Familiarity with DO-178C and DO-254.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion, DOORS, Teamcenter Requirements Management, or Requiem.
- Previous system development, design, manufacturing, or flight-test experience, including work with complex aircraft systems, avionics, flight controls, or propulsion systems.
